– The machines that we have OilQuick on need very little service and maintenance. They just keep going and going. We may have had to change an o-ring, at the most. But the system itself is stable and basically hassle-free, says Erik Løype, who is a machine operator and co-owner of Løype Anleggsdrift AS.

Løype Anleggsdrift is located in Gausdal in Norway, has approximately 60 employees and performs all types of construction work. They have customers in the entire Gudbrandsdalen, from Gjøvik in the south to Vinstra in the north. At the moment, Erik and some of his colleagues are in an area in Hafjell where they are preparing infrastructure, roads, water and sewerage for a new cabin area. The company bought its first OilQuick back in 2012 and today has 14 machines with the system. Two of the newest additions are a Volvo EC 250 and a Volvo EC 300, which are equipped with both fully-automatic quick-couplers and tiltrotators from OilQuick.
– The reason we got OilQuick in the first place was that we wanted to make the work easier for our operators, says Erik.

And there is no doubt that OilQuick has been a huge improvement for the operators. Erik has asked the employees if they could imagine going back to how it was before. The answer was unanimous:
– No, we never want to do that!

The investment has also contributed to increased profitability in the company, mainly in the form of the large time savings when changing tools.
– But there is also another important aspect, and that is that we extend the life of the equipment. Now that it is so easy to swith tools, we can, for example, always remove the tiltrotator when we are going to do heavier digging jobs, and only attach it when it is really needed. By always using the right tool for each task, we also work more efficiently, says Erik.

In summary, Erik has only positive things to say about OilQuick's fully-automatic coupler system.
– It is brilliant. It is fast, hassle-free and reliable. And the oil leakage that was unavoidable when switching tools manually is now a thing of the past. You don't spill a single drop.
